Getting to Ascot Conference Centre KZN



By car

From Durban: This takes just over 1 hour but check to see if you should go via Pinetown or just stay on the N3: Follow N3 to Pietermaritzburg. Take exit 79 to Ohrtmann Rd. Turn right to cross over the highway and turn right onto Promed Road (it runs parallel to the N3). Follow Promed Road and turn right onto Woodside. travel about 900m to Ascot Conference Centre.

From King Shaka Airport: This takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. Leave the airport and take the N2 towards Durban. From the N2 take the N3  Pietermaritzburg. Take exit 79 to Ohrtmann Rd. Turn right to cross over the highway and turn right onto Promed Road (it runs parallel to the N3). Follow Promed Road and turn right onto Woodside. travel about 900m to Ascot Conference Centre.


From Gauteng and Free State: travel on N3 to Durban. Howick is the town before Pietermaritzburg. As you approach Pietermaritzburg take Exit 81. Turn Left into Dr Chota Motala Rd, then right into Willowton Road. Travel down Williston to T junction and turn right into Ohrtmann Rd then Left into Promed Road (before you cross the highway). Follow Promed Road and turn right onto Woodside. travel about 900m to Ascot Conference Centre.

Bus
All the main bus liners have routes to Durban. After having arrived in Durban, local taxi services, ridesharing company(uber) or car hire services can be used to arrive at the exact destination
Greyhound: Greyhound  operates from Johannesburg to Durban and stops at Pietermaritzburg. Cost about R450.00
Intercape:  Intercape operates from Eastern Cape to Pietermaritzburg and costs about R660.00
Citiliner:   from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Cost about R460.00

Rail
There is a rail service from Durban and Johannesburg but check carefully to see if it is running.
